Rabbit and Monkey C-Reactive Protein
C-reactive protein (CRP) is becoming increasingly important as an inflammatory marker in rabbits and monkeys. We have recently added purified rabbit CRP (cat. no. 8102) and rhesus monkey CRP (cat. no. 8103) to our product list. Both proteins are purified at Life Diagnostics. Pricing information is available on the Acute Phase Biomarkers webpage. We also offer ELISA kits for rabbit CRP (cat. no. 2210-5) and monkey CRP (cat. no. 2210-4).

ELISA Kit for measurement of Monkey IgE
An ELISA for monkey IgE is now available (cat. no. 5017-3). IgE is the least abundant immunoglobulin in serum. It iis involved in allergic reactions and its levels increase in a number of diseases including asthma, eczema, rhinitis and parasitic infections. The kit is priced at $400 per 96-well kit.

New ELISA Kits for measurement of Monkey Anti-KLH IgG1 and IgM
We have recently developed new monkey anti-KLH IgM (cat. no. 4000-4-N) and anti-KLH IgG (cat. no. 4010-4-1) kits. The previous versions of the kits measure anti-KLH levels in units/ml. The newer versions measure absolute levels (ng/ml). This was facilitated by affinity purification of monkey anti-KLH IgG and IgM at Life Diagnostics. Please note that the new anti-KLH IgG ELISA kit specifically recognizes the IgG1 subclass of IgG. Pricing information can be found on the Immunotoxicity Biomarkers webpage. ELISA Kits for measurement of Mouse, Rat and Monkey IgA
ELISA kits for measurement of IgA in mouse (cat. no. 5016-1), rat (cat. no. 5016-2), and monkey samples (cat. no. 5016-3) are now available. IgA is the major secreted immunoglobulin. It is present in serum, milk and mucosal secretions at concentrations up to ~ 2 mg/ml. The kits are priced at $375 per 96-well kit.

ELISA Kit for measurement of Monkey IgG1
We now manufacture an ELISA kit for measurement of monkey IgG1 (cat. no. 5010-3-1). This kit complements the Monkey IgG and IgM kits that we have manufactured for some time. IgG1 is the major subclass of IgG in monkeys. The IgG1 ELISA has been screened for reactivity with monkey IgG1, IgG2, IgG3 and IgG4 and proved to be specific for IgG1. Also, the kit recognizes monkey IgG1 but shows no reactivity with human IgG. The price is $450 per 96-well kit.

ELISA Kits for measurement of Rat and Pig Skeletal Muscle Creatine Kinase (CK-MM)
We have recently developed ELISA kits that specifically measure CK-MM mass levels in rat (cat. no. 2112-2) and pig (cat. no. 2112-3) serum and plasma . CK-MM is an excellent marker for skeletal muscle injury. Please refer to the Skeletal Muscle Biomarker ELISA kits page for pricing.
